130 Year Celebration

Homestead Savings Bank was formed in 1889 and opened its doors in Albion on June 21, 1889. The bank has been able to keep the same name and serve the Albion market for 130 years. HSB is now the 14th oldest bank in the State of Michigan!

The City of Albion has officially recognized June 21st, 2019 as “Homestead Savings Bank Day” in honor of their 130th year operating in Albion.

Homestead celebrated this occasion Friday, June 21, 2019. With an open house event at all of our locations (Albion, Leslie and Springport).  We had refreshments (cupcakes, punch, popcorn, etc.) and a drawing to win gift cards from local businesses.
